Do you feel like the kids only listen when you start yelling?

Are you tired of nagging, lecturing and arguing to get basic obedience—only to find that it never really seems to work?

Stop spinning your wheels and pulling your hair out!
• Parenting doesn't have to be stressful, mystifying, exhausting or a source of guilt.
• Parenting can be fun, exhilarating, and meaningful.
• You can be effective, feel confident, competent and skillful instead of discouraged, guilty, drained, and upset.

Learn specific strategies to:
• Discipline more effectively with less energy and stress.
• Bring positive energy and confidence to your parenting instead of the typical "brain drain" experienced by many parents.
• Build stronger and greater relationships with your children.
• Be proactive in your parenting.
• Learn to gain control and gain confidence.
• Use your parenting to strengthen your relationship with your spouse rather than letting the kids come between you.

What is an Action Group?
• It is strength-based. It is not therapy—It's not about problems and what's wrong with your parenting. Instead, it focuses on how to more effectively harness your strengths, and that of the group's, to increase your effectiveness as a parent.
• It is focused on specific actions & strategies. An Action Group is not a class. Classes involve passive, generalized learning. An Action Group is about taking each person's specific situation and taking specific action so that by the end of each group you will have developed a clear strategy to implement in your home right away.
• It provides accountability. An Action Group motivates, encourages and provides accountability. While you can also vent, this is not just a support group. This is a place where you will be encouraged to be proactive and be given the tools to do so. You will report your progress to the group.
• It provides support, encouragement, motivation and challenges to each other between meetings via email and phone support.
• It benefits the individual: Each person makes customized, individualized action plans, developing specific strategies for their specific situation.
• It Benefits the group: As each person develops her or his own specific plan, the other participants glean ideas, benefit from your experiences and are able to take your specific challenges and solutions and generalize them to their own specific situations.

Innovative in-home hosted group format
• Groups are held in the comfort of your own or your neighbor's home, where you can learn on familiar turf in a relaxed, real-life setting.
• Hosts set up the groups with your own group of friends and neighbors. The host's fee is waived and they receive any books & materials at no charge.

Group Size & Schedule
• Each group meets four times for two hours each.
• The group can then decide if they wish to continue their progress into the Overlearning Stage on a weekly, biweekly or monthly basis. rge49; Groups can be held during the day while the kids are in school or can be done in the evening while you share a babysitte

Cost for all four groups.
• Groups with 10 members:
$120 per person, $180 per couple
• Groups with 20 members:$60r. per person, $90 per couple
(that's only $11.25-15.00 or $22.50-30.00 respectively per meeting per person).
• The Action Group format provides a more effective and less expensive change process than traditional individual based or passive-learning approaches. For example, compare the cost of therapy at $65 to $120 per hour, or the cost of a one-time general-learning workshop from $90 to $500.
